Overview
RAGBRAI is coming to Sioux City, July 21-23. The race kicks off on the 23rd, there will be around 30,000 people who turn out for the event. What an opportunity for outreach! I am exploring several options, please contact me for your interests.
Booth at the expo to pass out gospel tracts and share the gospel. Planned for 12:00-9:00 pm July 22. Please contact me ASAP so I know if we have enough volunteers to cover the hours. We can meet at 10:00 am for setup.
One-to-one witnessing All the parks will be full of people camping and downtown will be packed. We will need to coordinate times and locations for going out in pairs.
Open-Air preaching and trivia I have done this at the Ambassadors’ Academy in California recently. It can be done well and be well-received. If we have a handful of volunteers to help build a crowd, we can proclaim the gospel and engage people with a gospel conversation. This may be best on July 21.
We have a special 50th anniversary RAGBRAI tract made up to distribute to the many participating in the event.
