Overview
The Pella Historical Society has made a decision to cancel the events of Pella Tulip Time in 2020. Likewise, this gospel outreach has been cancelled but will return again next year. Thanks for your interest.
We are planning to share the gospel at the 85th annual Pella Tulip Time Festival in Pella, IA. This is our fourth year of doing this and it is a great joy to labor together to share the gospel message at this event. Come join for a time of learning and engaging in Christ-centered conversations through this three-day event!
The kick-off of our training will feature Eddie Roman, the producer/director of the Way of the Master program, from Living Waters providing Evangelism Basics. Several sessions through the weekend will feature Dr. Jason Lisle from Biblical Science Institute who will share with us several sessions on apologetics and providing practical ways of communicating the truth of God’s word.
There is something for everyone. For those new to, or less experienced in, evangelism we are offering a mentoring program to receive constructive feedback and help getting started. If you are interested, please check the option when you register. For all levels, this is a unique opportunity to distribute tracts and stop for individual one-on-one conversations with others about Christ and His gospel message. On Friday and Saturday evening we will gather together for fellowship and sharing experiences and a time of Q&A with our experienced leaders.
As in past years, we will have many tracts available from Living Waters and Answers in Genesis as well as tracts specific for Pella and it’s unique Christian history.
For those who would like to participate, please register for the times and ways you are able to volunteer and the training sessions you wish to attend. Everyone who registers will get exclusive free access to online training by Living Waters, sent via email.

Speaker Information
Dr. Jason Lisle is a Christian astrophysicist who researches issues pertaining to science and the Christian Faith. A popular speaker and author, Dr. Lisle presents a rational defense of a literal Genesis, showing how science confirms the history recorded in the Bible. Brought up in a Christian family, at a young age he received Christ as Lord. Since then Lisle has always desired to serve the Lord out of love and gratitude for salvation, and to spread the Gospel message to all people.
Eddie Roman is the producer/director of Way of the Master, a television program that teaches Christians how to share their faith. He also hosts the Romans Road podcast and leads the evangelism ministry at Faith Bible Church in Murrieta, CA. Eddie’s book, Search N Rescue is used by churches and individuals who desire to reach out to the lost. Eddie has taught evangelism at Ray Comfort’s Ambassadors Academy as well as various outreaches and churches. Eddie lives in Murrieta, CA with his wife Carri and their four sons.
